Twin Peaks Holidays - Terms & Conditions

A holiday booking is made between Twin Peaks Holidays and the holiday organiser and governed by these booking conditions. The number of people in each chalet is strictly limited to those named on the booking form and up to the maximum number stated. The chalet is available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Deposits & Confirmation

A deposit of 20% of the chalet rental cost is payable at the time of booking. On receipt of your holiday deposit, Twin Peaks will send you confirmation of booking showing the deposit paid and the balance owing.

Balance

Full payment of the outstanding balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.

Security Deposit – Self Catering

Refundable deposits against damages and breakages are required for the chalet. Deposits will be refunded 2 weeks after your departure date provided all the terms and conditions have been adhered to.

The chalet will be cleaned prior to your arrival and you are required to leave it clean. If you do not leave the chalet in a clean and tidy state, the cost of a cleaner will be deducted from your deposit. Under no circumstances are any fixtures and fittings to be removed from the chalets.

The chalets will be checked by our agent shortly after your departure. Where the agent advises us that an additional charge will be incurred for cleaning or to cover breakages or missing items, the client will be invoiced and undertakes to pay the sum invoiced in full and within 14 days should the amount exceed the deposit sum held.

Cancellation

Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following cancellation charges apply. Charges are calculated by reference to the time before the departure date at which the notice is received.

  • More than 6 weeks in advance - Deposit only
  • 4-6 weeks - 35% of holiday cost
  • 2-4 weeks - 60% of holiday cost
  • Less than 2 weeks - 100% of total holiday cost

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out full Winter Holiday Travel Insurance. This booking is made on the assumption that each client will have arranged such insurance. All Clients are responsible for their own personal possessions, ski equipment and vehicles.

Our Liability

We promise to make sure that all parts of the holiday we have agreed to arrange, perform or provide as part of our contract with you are performed or provided with reasonable care and skill.

We shall not be liable for any loss, delay or costs incurred arising from circumstances outside our control (including weather, traffic and snow conditions). In any event, our maximum liability to any client (other than in respect of death or personal injury caused by the Company´s negligence) shall be the amount received by us from such client for their holiday.

Complaints

In the unlikely event of a problem occurring during the holiday, please raise this with us directly so that it may be resolved immediately.

Descriptions

All descriptions on the web site or in any written or oral communication from us are given in good faith and in the belief that they are true. Should any significant details change before your holiday we will do our best to inform you.
